Season's Dawn

"You... were in Fairy Tail?" Kat asks
"I think I remember, you're the kid who ran from an orphanage, right?" Garen blurted out.

"Yeah something like that." Just said sheepishly

"Oh, well lets see if anyone will hel-" Kat was cut off by someone yelling
"Kat!" They yelled, "Kat!"

The figure got closer, it was somebody from Fairy Tail, "Ayaka wants to see you" he panted.
"Me?" Kat looked at him, confused.
"He probably wants you to join Blue Anarchy" Garen said
"Something like that" the member said, before running off again.

"Mind if I tag along. I was hoping to Join Fairy Tail; that's the main reason I came back."

"Sure, we're always recruiting people" Kat said, "This way"
She walked towards Fairy Tail's guild building.

"Fallen!!" Just called. A large brown furry shape came running at her. "Come on Fall" She said to the She-cat and followed Kat.

"Nice cat" Kat said, "We're almost there, the bookshop is only a small distance from Fairy Tail."
"The guild with those 3 egotistical maniacs" Garen muttered.

"Katayomi, Garen meat Fallen. Fallen this is Katayomi and Garen" Just induced the three.

"Big for a cat" Garen commented
"And you're a talking cat who can fly" Kat said.
"Uh... good point"

Fairy Tail was now in sight. "There it is" Kat said, "Fairy Tail"

"Wow..." Just said as she gased in awe at the large building a head.

"It looked even better before the infighting" Kat pointed out. "Come on, let's see if Ayaka will accept you"
She began walking towards the entrance.

"OK." Just said and followed Kat, with her cat in tow.

Kat pushed the doors open, the guild was split into 3 sections, the left had Blue Anarchy supporters, the centre with another faction, and the right with the last faction.
"Kat!" Sounded a voice from the left side
"I know!" She called back. Kat leade Just through the left side and up a pair of stairs located at the end of the tables, stopping at the door, "Well, this is it... Ready?" Kat asked Just.

Just took a deep breath looked at Falled and nodded. "Yes."

Kat was about to grab the handle when the door flung open, revealing a large room. To the left was a line of bookshelves, stretching from one side of the room to the other, there was a desk in the middle of the room, and the right side contained 3 doors, leading to other places. At the very back of the room were glass doors that were open, there was a silhouette standing on the balcony beyond them.

"Come in" the figure said, casually.

Just entered Cautiously.

The figure turned around, revealing his appearance, "Names Ayaka. But I'm sure you know that already, white-hair"
"Um, s-sir, her name is-" Kat nervously said before being interrupted
"I'd like her to introduce herself" Ayaka said, "I'll talk to you after introductions, Katayomi"
Garen just mumbled something in disgust at the man.
"Y-yes, sir" Kat muttered.

"With all dew respect sir" although it's not much "I'm Just Aoshiritsu."

"And why are you here? When I have called on only Katayomi" he said, glaring at Kat for a brief moment, before turning his attention back to Just.

"I'm here because I wish to join Fairy Tail, Sir" Just said. Suddenly Fairy Tail was less desirable.

"I'm suprised someone would want to join Fairy Tail at it's current state, very well" Ayaka walked towards his desk and m pulled out a magical stamp "Where would you like your guild mark, and in what color?"

"Hm? Oh Royal Blue and on my right upper arm, please Sir" She said trying to maintain her boldness but failing miserably. how is that I can sing in front of hordes of drunks and this guys makes me want to hind in a corner?
(where it's usually covered by her shirt)

"Alirght" Ayaka said, lifting Just's sleeve and stamping her arm, "the mark will never fade, so wear it with pride" he said, turning his attention to Kat
"An emergency has come up, and you're the only Celestial Wizard we have that isn't affiliated with any of the factions, yet. So I'm sending you to the blighted lands to retrieve the Red Key so that we may keep it from being misused by people who wish to seek the world's end" he said, "This mission is S-Standard, which means you need an S class wizard to accompany you, namely myself"
"We were just at the bookshop when the owner told us about thieves going after the Red Key" Kat told Ayaka
"Yes... Those 'thieves' are of this guild, one of the faction leaders wants to wield power equal to a god. We can't allow that to happen, as Fiore is likely to be destroyed from such power. So once we retrieve the key, you'll hide it from the world. I understand you know things nobody else in this world does. Like Fairy Tail's forbidden secret for example. None but you know what it is so far"
Kat just nodded.

"what am I supposed to do? Sit around here and do nothing? I want to come to." Just said back to her usually self.

"I wasn't excluding you at all" Ayaka said, "I think it'll make a good first impression. I'll give you both time to prepare, for now stick to the left side of the guild, tell nobody what your mission is. It could endanger your lives more than the mission itself." He said, dismissing them.
Kat lead Just out the door as it closed by itself, "Well... Speak of coincidences" Kat said. "Don't mind Ayaka, he doesn't mean to be rude all the time"
"Sure..." Garen grunted.

"I used to spend my days singing in bars. Dealing with rude people is my middle name." Just said Jokingly.

"I can see how that helps." Kat smiled, walking down the steps, "If only Garen had your patience"
"Hey!" Garen protested.
"Anyway, do you have a place to stay? I have an extra bed at my place if you don't" Kat said.

"that'd be great. That is if you don't mind" just said

"I did offer didn't I? Of course I don't mind" Kat laughed, "well I need to go home to get my keys, wanna come?"

(Kat's apartment is Lucy's old apartment, here
Since Lucy existed ~150 years ago, her apartment is obviously not going to be used by her)

"Sure I'd love to!" Just said happily

"It's a nice little place, you'll like it, I think" Kat added, she lead Just out of the guild and began walking towards her house, "Ayaka is the only one with a legitimate claim to be master, as he has the 5th master's blood in him" Kat whispered to Just, "The other two use their immense power as an excuse to outrule bloodlines from being a legit claim"

"So you think he should be Guild Master?" just asked

"I'm not too sure myself" Kat said, "the guild deserves someone who's nicer than those three"
"I fully agree with that" Garen added.

"well if Ayaka is anything to go by I agree wholeheartedly."

"Well, he'd be pleased to hear that" Kat said, coming to a stop "Well, here we are. Follow me"
Kat walked towards the apartment building.

"I'm sure he would." Just said smiling as she followed Kat into her apartment.

"It's not much but it'll do, for now" Kat said, opening up her apartment door
(We'll just say Kat has a bunk bed)
"The bottom bunk is where I sleep" she added, "the barthroom is the door next to the entrance, kitchen is opposite of bathroom"

"wow..." Just said looking around, "this place is so cool."
(let's remember she's been homeless for 5 years and usually sleeps in shady bars)
